Sponsor A Child When you join Path To Africa as a monthly sponsor, you help to ensure that the children at Hope Village can grow up heathy, educated and safe. Your sponsorship will help cover education costs, housing, food, medical expenses and many other general living costs. For us to cover all costs, each child will have multiple sponsors. As a sponsor you can follow the journey of your child through photos and letters from your sponsor child. You will also receive updates on their schooling and other successes. | |

Payment schedule : Choice to pay monthly, 3 monthly, 6 monthly or yearly. What you get in return : Regular updates and communication from your sponsor child. I visited Tanzania in 2013 to stay with a friend who was based there, and also experienced a safari. However, knowing the level of need that exists in Tanzania amongst so many African nations, I wanted my visit to be about more than just an enjoyable holiday. I asked my friend what she would suggest, and she took me to meet Amanda Kirk who oversees Hope Village Orphanage. I heard about the children who live there and the wonderful woman who looks after them and decided immediately to become a sponsor. More than ten years later I am still sponsoring the same young woman and regularly get updated on her progress. It is great to be able to make a difference by providing some financial support from where I am based in New Zealand.
